Freelancer or Entrepreneur? is an insightful podcast by Seth Godin. I briefly read through some of the keywords and was fascinated with the topic. I didn’t know the differences between a freelancer or entrepreneur. I do freelance work myself which made me even more interested to find out what the differences are. I enjoyed the format of the podcast, 3 speakers who are all freelancers and entrepreneurs educating their audience on everything from problems you may encounter and have to deal with to putting value into your company and making people want only that. The content was relatable because of the simple, personal examples. There was thought put into how they explained sometimes mundane business strategies and they worked it into something new. Using metaphorical explanations. What I enjoyed the most was I got the answer I was asking before I even listened to the podcast. What is the difference between a freelancer and Entrepreneur.
Some important points that resonate:
A lot of people spend time getting their ducks in a row. i.e becoming a surgeon, going to school for many years and become a specialist.
but theres no time for that if you are an entrepreneur – entrepreneurs collect their ducks but really understand that you got to do something with your ducks. Understand the unlimited resources & opportunities there are.
