Hi everyone, I’m Nicole Vassallo. Thank-you for visiting my blog. I live with my 85 year old grandmother or as I call her, Yaya. She is from Greece and we currently live in Toronto, Ontario. My Yaya is the most humble and wise human being I have ever met. She has knowledge way above my years and has lived through many harsh political situations which makes her views of todays society very different. She’s original, stands out from the crowd and marches to her own beat. My Yaya inspires me with her personal stories and has given me brilliant insight to why we are all here. She is completely fluent in Greek and English and I will be exploring her stories and publishing them on my blog for you to listen to. I am dedicating my blog to my grandmother because I believe her stories need to be heard.
